Blue Mountain Gallery opens summer juried exhibition with 39 works selected by Randy Williams

Blue Mountain Gallery in New York is presenting its 'Summer 2026 Juried Exhibition', a group show of 39 artworks by 38 artists selected by Randy Williams. The exhibition runs from July 28 to August 15, 2026, with an opening reception on July 30 from 6 to 8 pm. According to the gallery, the show draws from just over 300 applicants from the United States and abroad.

The gallery’s announcement frames the exhibition as a broad survey of current juried submissions rather than a single-theme presentation. The selected artists work in oil, acrylic, pastel, photography and mixed media, giving the show a wide material range across painting and lens-based practices. Blue Mountain Gallery also notes that the exhibition is accompanied by a fully illustrated catalogue, available online.

Randy Williams served as juror for the exhibition. Blue Mountain Gallery identifies Williams as a visual artist and educator whose practice and teaching span studio work and arts education. The gallery says he is Professor of Studio Art and Art Education at Manhattanville University, a long-time educational consultant and instructor at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Artistic Director of the New York State Summer School of the Visual Arts.

The exhibition brings together artists from the United States and abroad, reflecting the reach of the gallery’s open submission process. The list of exhibitors includes Emily Barnett, Amina Bradley, Sarah Cancienne, Barbara Cantatore, Lauren Cassidy, Camila Chaves Cortes, Mashiul Chowdhury, Jane Cohen, Colleen Coleman, Carey Conaway, Anne de Villemejane, Jacqueline Donadeo, Deborah Eck, Laurie Fader, Jason Franz, Shinobu Habauchi, Joseph Holsapple, Carol Holtz, Patricia Hutchinson, Casey Inch, Pamela Jennings, Barry Katz, PQHAÜS, Oxana Kovalchuk, Daniella LaGaccia, David LaPalombara, Serge Marchetta, Ian Mood, Kathy A. Moore, Sharilyn Neidhardt, Oscar Peterson, Andrew Rieder, Masha Ryskin, Darren Taylor, Monica Tiulescu, C. Fred Tyner, Anna Vakar and Andrew Werth.

Blue Mountain Gallery’s own website identifies the exhibition page as part of its juried-show section, while the gallery’s mailing list described the presentation as this year’s summer juried exhibition. The email announcement also said the works were chosen from more than three hundred applicants and emphasized the variety of media represented in the final selection.

Blue Mountain Gallery is located at 547 West 27th Street, Suite 200, in New York, and lists public hours Tuesday through Saturday, 11 am to 6 pm. The 'Summer 2026 Juried Exhibition' remains on view through August 15, 2026.
