The set sits within a wider group of Albers works currently listed by the gallery, among them ‘JHM I’ and ‘JHM II’ (both 1973), ‘Late’ from the Soft Edge – Hard Edge series (1965), and ‘Variants 1’, ‘Variants II’ and ‘Variants III’ from the same 1966 Ten Variants portfolio.
