Mark Moore Fine Art has announced the resale availability of Vernon Fisher’s 'Portrait of a Lady', a 2015 acrylic on canvas measuring 54 by 54 inches. The work is described as being in excellent condition and is priced upon request. According to the gallery’s notice, the piece comes from a private collection and is subject to strict confidentiality instructions.
The update places the work within Mark Moore Fine Art’s long-running engagement with Fisher’s practice. In an email to collectors, the gallery said it first exhibited Fisher’s work in 1992 and has remained dedicated to his art for nearly 35 years. The gallery also described itself as a premier source for Fisher’s work in the secondary market and said it is actively interested in representing Fisher’s pieces from collectors looking to deaccession.
