The ‘Welcome Back Opening Reception’ will take place on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at 73660 El Paseo, Palm Desert, California 92260. The November 6 reception will feature a selection of David Yarrow works newly arrived at the gallery and on view there for the first time.

Among the works associated with Yarrow is ‘Chateau Marmont,’ a 2019 photograph made in Los Angeles and featuring Alessandra Ambrosio. The work is identified as a photograph by David Yarrow, with the title, year, medium, Los Angeles location and featured subject specified in the gallery listing.

Born in Glasgow in 1966, Yarrow was 20 when he stood on the field at the 1986 World Cup Final in Mexico City, photographing for The Times of London. On that occasion, he photographed Diego Maradona lifting the trophy in an image that became one of the most famous sports images ever made.

Assignments at the Olympics and other major events followed, before Yarrow turned his lens from the stadium to the natural world. He is now known for large-scale black-and-white photographs, which the gallery describes as immersive, cinematic images that place viewers at eye level with wildlife and the people in his scenes.

Since 2019, Yarrow’s work has raised more than $10 million for conservation and charitable causes.
