Fondazione Brescia Musei’s Nuovo Eden will present a special screening of Daniele Vicari’s 'Diaz – Non pulire questo sangue' on July 20, 2026, at 19:00 in Sala 1 in Brescia. The 127-minute film, made in Italy in 2012, is listed as part of the cinema’s summer programming and will be shown for €3.50 under the Cinema Revolution initiative. The screening is scheduled within the broader summer season at Nuovo Eden and L’Eden d’estate, both operated by Fondazione Brescia Musei.

The film returns to the events of the G8 summit in Genoa in 2001, focusing on the police raid on the Diaz school in the night between July 21 and 22, when activists, demonstrators and journalists were sleeping there. The source material describes the operation as a brutal and systematic act of violence that left a deep mark on Italy’s democratic memory, and says Vicari reconstructs the events through a choral, tense account that interweaves the experiences of those inside and around the school.

The event page frames the screening as a civil and still urgent film about truth, institutional responsibility and the protection of fundamental rights. It also notes that the work received the audience award in the Panorama section at Berlinale 2012. The online listing identifies the cast as Claudio Santamaria, Jennifer Ulrich, Elio Germano, Davide Iacopini and Ralph Amoussou, alongside Vicari as director.

Nuovo Eden, the cinema venue within Fondazione Brescia Musei, is described by the institution as an art-house cinema in Brescia’s Carmine district, with two screens: Sala 1 and Sala 2. The venue says it programs contemporary author cinema, restored classics, retrospectives, themed series, live-scored films and collaborations with festivals, while also offering educational activities and events for different audiences. The July screening is part of that wider programming profile rather than a separate museum exhibition.

The screening also sits within the summer season 'L’Eden d’estate 2026. Il cinema al Museo', which runs from June 12 to September 6, 2026, in the Viridarium – Parco delle sculture at Museo di Santa Giulia. The institution says the summer programme includes 87 films and numerous events that combine culture, art and cinema, along with live music screenings, talks with critics, guided visits, cult films and original-language presentations. An accompanying food-and-drink offer, 'Stasera? Museo!', is also part of the summer setting.

For the July 20 event, tickets are listed at €3.50 under Cinema Revolution, the Ministry of Culture-backed campaign that reduces the price of Italian and European films during the summer period. The page specifies that the promotion applies to films at Nuovo Eden in via Nino Bixio 9 and at the outdoor arena L’Eden d’estate, while special events with guests, as well as American and non-European films, are excluded. The screening is set for Sala 1, with the listing placing it at Nuovo Eden at 19:00.
