Maria Lepistö will transform the old grain silo at SMK Thy into a fictional observation tower.
The exhibition will feature new sound and video installations created specifically for SMK Thy. Surveillance cameras, binoculars and hidden microphones will be used.
The project examines the human desire to monitor what happens outside the field of vision and curiosity about what wild animals do when humans are not watching. The exhibition is being made in collaboration with Nationalpark Thy and will extend into the surrounding landscape through sound walks and performances.
