At the opening night of Menart Fair 2026, Emirati artist Maitha Abdalla received the inaugural Boucheron ‘Coup de Cœur’ Prize, one of the highlights of the evening. The prize was presented to Abdalla by Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, the CEO of Maison Boucheron.
Menart Fair 2026 took place from 23–25 October 2026 at 116 rue de Turenne, in Paris’s 3rd arrondissement. More than 1,500 guests gathered on Thursday evening to celebrate the opening of the fair’s seventh edition.
Abdalla is an internationally recognised multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores the connections between memory, identity, tradition and women’s emancipation.
Her bronze sculpture ‘Hug My Land’ is displayed in the Agora at Menart Fair. The work presents a feminine silhouette curled in on itself, a gesture that combines vulnerability and protection while questioning the relationship to belonging, memory and the inner refuge that each person carries.
Maison Boucheron has been a partner of Menart Fair since 2024 and, through this distinction, reaffirms its commitment to women’s artistic creation, artistic freedom and the international visibility of artists from the MENA region.
