PAMM’s Art Talk, ‘Masterpieces from the Museum Berggruen,’ is scheduled for October 29, 2026, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at PAMM.

The discussion will feature Natalie Zimmer, a curator at Museum Berggruen, and Maritza M. Lacayo, PAMM’s associate curator, and will explore the legacy of European art collector and dealer Heinz Berggruen and the masterpieces he preserved from major twentieth-century artists.

The event is intended to examine the legacy and artistic dialogue behind the exhibition ‘Picasso–Klee–Matisse: Masterpieces from the Museum Berggruen.’ The exhibition runs from October 29, 2026, through February 28, 2027, and includes approximately 100 works by artists such as Alberto Giacometti, Paul Klee, Henri Matisse, and Picasso.

Berggruen assembled the collection over more than four decades and operated a Parisian gallery; he was also known for his close relationship with Pablo Picasso. The collection he built is now housed by Berlin’s Museum Berggruen, a public institution.
