Alechinsky Developed a Distinctive Visual Language

Museo Reina Sofía marks the 99th anniversary of Pierre Alechinsky’s birth. Born in 1927, Alechinsky is identified as one of the representatives of the CoBrA movement.

The answer leads to the Generation of ’27 and the artistic world of one of its most singular painters.

Self-taught, Caramés is described as an essential reference in Galician photography. Throughout his career, he has explored the evocative capacity of images taken from his everyday surroundings.

A work will become part of the new temporary exhibition 'The Freudian Universe of Dalí' from 20 October.
