Artifex Presents Allan Morgan’s ‘A Sense of Place’ Image: Artifex contemporary Art, Sutton Coldfield

Artifex is presenting ‘A Sense of Place,’ an exhibition of original paintings by Allan Morgan and his first solo selling exhibition with the gallery. The exhibition runs from 24 October to 8 November 2026 at Artifex, The Mitchell Centre, Weeford Road, Sutton Coldfield.

The presentation brings together new original paintings and limited-edition prints inspired by Sutton Park and the wider natural landscape. Its stated subject is expressed through scenes and places associated with Sutton Park and the broader natural landscape, with the collections capturing its beauty, light and atmosphere.

The exhibition is divided into two collections: ‘The Sutton Park Collection’ and ‘Beauty of Nature Collection.’

Morgan will be at Artifex throughout the day on Saturday 24 October 2026, from 10am to 5pm, for a live demonstration. During the day, he will demonstrate how he creates his work, offering a look at his process, materials and techniques as a painting develops.

The listed works include ‘Little Bracebridge Horses,’ ‘Little Bracebridge,’ ‘Crown Lane Gate,’ ‘Bracebridge View,’ ‘Bracebridge Reflection’ and ‘Blackroot Pool.’ Limited-edition prints ordered before or on the exhibition’s opening day will be hand-signed by Morgan. All of the prints are editions of 25.
