The LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair will take place from 27 October to 1 November 2026 in Berkeley Square, London, with nearly 100 leading art and antiques dealers expected to come together for the event.

Ahead of the fair, a preview introduces three dealers, each with their own expertise, approach to collecting and exceptional works to discover. London-based Andreas de Jong specialises in exceptional 18th- and early 19th-century English furniture, with a particular eye for craftsmanship, colour and originality. Making his LAPADA debut, de Jong will present a remarkable George II Gainsborough armchair distinguished by its intricate carving, rich colour and unusual proportions. Alongside it will be a George I walnut bachelor's chest in exceptional, untouched condition, which de Jong considers worthy of a museum collection.

A particular highlight is Dante Gabriel Rossetti’s 'A Christmas Carol', a richly detailed red chalk drawing dating to 1867. Winsor Birch was founded by two former Sotheby’s specialists in Victorian and 20th-century British and Irish art and focuses on sourcing exceptional works by both celebrated and overlooked artists.

The fair will also feature the exceptional 'Gorges Cups & Covers', a pair of Queen Anne silver-gilt cups made in 1702 by Pierre Platel. Once owned by Prime Minister Lord Rosebery, the cups later formed part of the renowned Rothschild and Rosebery collection at Mentmore. Platel’s workshop trained the celebrated silversmith Paul de Lamerie.
