Teresa Solar Presents ‘Tuneladora’ at Museo Reina Sofía

Alexander Calder was the only foreign artist to participate in the Spanish Pavilion at the 1937 Paris International Exhibition.

The screen, dated between 1921 and 1922, marked a break with Impressionism for the young Dalí.

The exhibition explores the emotional and political dimensions of Gonzalez-Torres’s work. The artist’s vital and artistic journey is marked by beauty, grief, paradox and participatory power.

Julio González was born in 1876. The artist revolutionized sculpture by daring to ‘draw in space’.
