Jonathan Baldock: Held will run from 24 October 2026 to 13 February 2027, and the exhibition, developed by Arnolfini in Bristol, will tour to MOSTYN.
‘Held’ brings together textiles, ceramics and sculptures produced over the past two decades of Baldock’s career. At the centre of the exhibition is ‘Bear Hug’, a monumental bear sculpture commissioned by Arnolfini that can hold visitors in its arms.
The exhibition launches are free to attend and open to all. During the launch, Baldock will lead a tour of the exhibitions at 2pm, followed by a signing of his recent monograph, ‘Held’, published by Arnolfini. The launch programme also includes a workshop for children and families inspired by Baldock’s work, running from 11am to 3pm.
‘Held’ has been generously supported by the Henry Moore Foundation.
