The ICC theater screening program presents a compilation combining excerpts and re-rendered versions of Rosa Menkman’s works made from 2010 to 2025. The program is scheduled every Saturday, Sunday and public holiday from September 19 through November 8, 2026.
The October 4 screening begins at 15:00, and audience members may enter or leave during the screening.
‘欠けているヴィジョン’ is a compilation combining excerpts and re-rendered versions of works made from 2010 to 2025, and it remains a work in progress. The work is organized into several chapters, each incorporating works from different periods into a new narrative flow. In the work, the ‘angel of history’ successively encounters conditions surrounding resolution: obsolescence, materiality, genealogy, institutions, scale and habit, before reaching the final chapter, ‘Beyond Resolution’.
The program includes ‘The Collapse of PAL’, ‘Requiem for the Planes of Blue Phosphor’, ‘DCT:SYPHONING: The 1,000,000th (64th) Interval’, ‘WHITEOUT’ and ‘Beyond Resolution’, among other works.
