David Troughton’s exhibition ‘Into The Blue Again’ runs from 30 September to 10 October 2026. The exhibition is framed by anticipation for NASA’s Artemis II mission in 2027 and celebrates humanity’s enduring curiosity and desire to explore.

Troughton presents mixed-media works drawing on decades of collected imagery from science books, comics, magazines and newspapers. The exhibition is inspired by childhood memories of Yuri Gagarin’s historic spaceflight and witnessing Neil Armstrong’s Moon landing.

Influenced by Robert Rauschenberg and Jasper Johns, the exhibition explores the visual excitement of space exploration. Born in Coventry in 1951, Troughton has exhibited internationally, with recent solo exhibitions at Gallery 64a in Whitstable and LTB Showrooms in Coventry.
