Project Realized with the Fondazione Enrico Castellani

The project is being realized in collaboration with the Fondazione Enrico Castellani.

From the late 1950s, the artist developed a language founded on redefining the painted surface, transforming the canvas into a space in which light, rhythm and structure become constitutive elements of the work.

Through a practice shaped by formal reduction and modular repetition, Castellani overcomes the traditional distinction between painting and sculpture, constructing an essential vocabulary in which space, time, variation and perception assume a central role.

His works present themselves as objects that change in relation to light and the viewer’s point of view, giving form to an experience that is continually different as those conditions shift.

The visit is included in the museum admission ticket.
