A new publication invites readers to rediscover Joan Miró’s work through a selection of the artist’s works.
The Fundació Joan Miró guide presents a contemporary portrait of the museum while remaining deeply connected to its origins.
Its opening pages create a dialogue between past and present by juxtaposing historic black-and-white photographs by Francesc Català-Roca with contemporary images of the same spaces.
The result is a portrait of a living institution, faithful to the innovative vision on which it was founded and which continues to shape its identity today.
The publication also places special emphasis on Joan Miró’s role in the creation of the Foundation.
