A screening and conversation on Charlotte Perriand is scheduled for 24 October at 5.30pm. The programme will include screenings of the short film ‘Tótem’ and the documentary ‘Charlotte Perriand, pionnière de l’art de vivre’, followed by a conversation. The event forms part of the celebration of DART Festival’s 10th anniversary.
The discussion will feature Martina Millà, curator of the exhibition ‘Charlotte Perriand. Free to Rethink the World’; Bea Borque, the show’s architect and exhibition designer; and journalist and art historian Anatxu Zabalbeascoa as moderator.
The Fundació Joan Miró presents the first exhibition in Spain dedicated to Charlotte Perriand, who lived from 1903 to 1999 and is described as one of the most influential designers of the twentieth century and a key figure in understanding the design of the modern movement. The exhibition runs from 9 October 2026 to 28 February 2027 and is curated by Martina Millà, Head of Exhibitions at the Fundació Joan Miró.
The show is aligned with this year’s programme theme of reinterpreting architecture as a living space, a language and a way of situating ourselves in the world.
