‘Paradise Lost’ is in the Main Gallery from July 24 to October 11, 2026, featuring Jazz Keillor and Laura St. Pierre. The exhibition challenges the idea that humans are the central agents of meaning, knowledge, and control. It considers broader forms of agency across nature, other species, technologies, and objects.
Through the work of Laura St. Pierre and Jazz Keillor, the exhibition reflects on ecological crisis, hybridity, and the shifting boundaries between human and nonhuman life.
St. Pierre’s installations and photographs imagine post-apocalyptic ecosystems and uncertain futures shaped by environmental collapse. Keillor’s paintings present landscapes from a distant, bird’s-eye perspective, where trees become central characters.
The exhibition’s opening reception took place on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. The evening included artist talks followed by a Q&A.
Creating “other spaces” marked by tension, uncertainty, and transformation, the works invite viewers to move beyond human-centred thinking toward a more inclusive and relational understanding of existence.
