MAMbo’s Project Room is presenting ‘Luigi Ghirri e Gianni Celati. Verso la foce’ through 4 October 2026. The exhibition is curated by Lorenzo Balbi and Giulia Pezzoli and documents the intellectual and creative relationship between photographer Luigi Ghirri and Gianni Celati, who is identified as a writer, critic, translator and filmmaker.
It documents an intellectual and creative partnership born from a collaboration. The project is supported by Strategia Fotografia 2025 and developed with the Fondazione Luigi Ghirri and MARV – Museo d’Arte Rubini Vesin / Rete Museale Marche Nord.
The material identifies Luigi Ghirri’s series ‘Blu Infinito’ and dates it to 1991. Ghirri was born in Scandiano in 1943 and died in Roncocesi in 1992.
