Giorgia Severi’s artist book ‘SHOOTING STARS. BOTANICAL CONVERSATIONS WITH PETER KENNETH LATZ 24° 34' 21"S 133° 8' 52"E’ will be presented on Saturday 3 October 2026 at 15.00 as part of BOoks. The presentation is also part of Italian Council.
The work is dated 2019/2023.
The artist book brings together a transcript of Severi’s conversation with ethnobotanist Peter K. Latz, botanical notes, drawings, photographs and plant prints made during an artist residency in Australia.
After the festival, the work will enter the MAMbo collection on loan and remain visible in the museum foyer until 1 November 2026.
