‘No Surrender,’ 2019, is a powerful and deeply personal four-colour lithograph that captures the raw emotional intensity at the heart of Tracey Emin’s practice.
The work was the first print created at Counter Studios in Emin’s hometown of Margate, marking an important moment in the artist’s continued engagement with printmaking and her enduring connection to the place where she was born.
Produced in an edition of 75, the print was the first made at the Margate studio. It is signed, numbered and dated by the artist and was produced by Counter Studios, Margate.
‘No Surrender’ offers a striking example of the expressive figurative language that has become increasingly important within Emin’s wider practice.
