National Museum of Fine Arts Presents Antonio Pujía’s ‘La sed’

The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes has mourned the death of Carlos Alonso, describing him as a great master and an unavoidable reference point in the contemporary visual history of the country.

An ‘On This Day’ item marks the birth of Mark Rothko in Latvia in 1903. The item identifies Rothko as a leading figure of American Abstract Expressionism.

The National Museum of Fine Arts highlighted four Sunday exhibitions in Buenos Aires.
