Bellas Artes bids farewell to Graciela Taquini with deep sorrow

The Museo Moderno and the Asociación Amigos del Moderno bid farewell to Graciela Taquini with great affection and admiration.

The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes has mourned the death of Carlos Alonso, describing him as a great master and an unavoidable reference point in the contemporary visual history of the country.

‘El ángel y el escarabajo’ (1941) is a woodcut by José Planas Casas. Planas Casas was a Spanish artist who became an Argentine citizen.

‘Violetas y azaleas’ dates from 1875. Henri Fantin-Latour gathered highly luminous flowers and arranged bouquets in vases or pots.
