The Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum will present the collection exhibition ‘Yuji Saiga and Gunkanjima’.

The collection exhibition is titled ‘Yuji Saiga and Gunkanjima’.

Yuji Saiga is a photographer born in 1951.

Saiga first visited Hashima, commonly known as Gunkanjima, near the time the island was closing. After Hashima became uninhabited and fell into ruin, its distinctive condition continued to attract Saiga, who photographed the island repeatedly.
