The wait is over: as seen on Instagram, Dave Buonaguidi’s ‘Gentle Reminder (Wooden Screen)’ works are now live on the Jealous website.
Past examples of Buonaguidi’s printing practice include printing with pheromones, printing with sprinkles, printing onto copper plates and printing onto just about anything else he can find; these examples show the investigative approach he takes to his printing practice.
His work aims to cause a reaction in the viewer through the juxtaposition of familiar images with overlaying text, a smattering of controversy or the odd swear word to accentuate; Buonaguidi uses the techniques of mass communication and advertising, pairing them with found imagery and objects and assertive text that challenges the viewer.
Grizelda Kitching’s works include ‘Yellow Shrubs’, ‘Hunte’s Garden, Green II’, ‘Hunte’s Garden, Two’ and ‘Shrubs (Two)’.
