On Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 2 PM, Renée Green will join cultural critic Diedrich Diederichsen and Dia curator Jordan Carter in conversation.
The program will take place in the Gerhard Richter Gallery at Dia Beacon and is free with museum admission.
‘Renée Green: The Equator Has Moved’ is on view at Dia Beacon from March 7, 2025, through October 12, 2026, marking the multidisciplinary artist’s first major solo museum presentation in New York.
Since the late 1980s, Green has produced densely layered, knowledge-based work that adapts strategies of Minimal and Conceptual art from the 1960s and ’70s. Her recursive process brings together archival, documentary, and literary fragments; personal and found ephemera; speculative narratives; and her existing work to probe the boundaries between fact and fiction, and between public recollection and personal memory.
The Dia presentation brings together historical, reconfigured, and newly commissioned work across the museum’s two central galleries and perpendicular corridor. The exhibition is curated by Jordan Carter, curator and co-department head, with Ella den Elzen as curatorial assistant.
