Fondazione Brescia Musei’s Nuovo Eden cinema is preparing a summer season of outdoor screenings inside the Museo di Santa Giulia complex in Brescia. 'L’Eden d’estate 2026. Il cinema al Museo' runs from 12 June to 6 September 2026 in the Viridarium - Parco delle sculture, bringing film programming into the museum’s green space under the title 'L’Eden d’estate 2026'.

The season is presented as a broad outdoor programme rather than a single film strand. According to the museum and cinema’s pages, it includes 87 films together with special screenings, films with live accompaniment, discussions with experts, guided visits, cult titles and screenings in original language. The newsletter and event listing also note that the schedule is paired with 'Stasera? Museo! Food and drinks 2026', the aperitif and dining offer in the Viridarium, available from Tuesday to Sunday from 18:00 to midnight.

Nuovo Eden is Fondazione Brescia Musei’s cinema space in Brescia. The institution describes it as a cinema d’essai, active since 2007, and part of European networks including Europa Cinemas and Heritage Cinemas of Europe. Its summer arena extends the cinema’s activity beyond its indoor venue on via Nino Bixio 9 into the museum grounds at via Musei 81/b, where the open-air programme is hosted.

A key component of the summer schedule is the Cinema Revolution initiative. Fondazione Brescia Musei says that from 19 June to 20 September 2026 all Italian and European films are priced at 3.50 euro, both at the Nuovo Eden cinema and at the summer arena 'L’Eden d’estate'. The institution notes that the promotion does not apply to special events with guests, nor to American and non-European films. Standard pricing for the summer arena is listed as 6.50 euro full price, 5.50 euro reduced and 5 euro for Eden Card holders, while under-12 tickets are 3.50 euro.

The published agenda shows that the summer season mixes contemporary titles with repertory and special-event screenings. Among the films listed for late July and early August are 'Nouvelle Vague' by Richard Linklater, 'À bout de souffle – Fino all’ultimo respiro' by Jean-Luc Godard, 'Il dio dell’amore' by Francesco Lagi, 'Die My Love', 'Lavoreremo da grandi', 'Il diavolo veste Prada 2', 'Amarga Navidad', 'Yellow Letters', 'Eyes Wide Shut' and 'Kneecap'. The schedule continues through August and ends on 6 September with 'La grazia'.

The programme also includes two critic-led events on Jean-Luc Godard and Steven Spielberg. On 28 July, an encounter titled 'Jean-Luc Godard e la Nouvelle vague' is scheduled at the Auditorium di Santa Giulia, followed by a screening of 'A bout de souffle – Fino all’ultimo respiro'. On 25 August, 'Incontro con il critico: Spielberg e il cinema del meraviglioso' is paired with 'Incontri ravvicinati del terzo tipo'. These events sit alongside the cinema programme rather than replacing it, and the site marks them separately within the season.

For the summer arena, the museum says that in case of rain screenings may move to the indoor Nuovo Eden cinema, with updates posted on the venue’s website and social channels by 20:00 on the day. Tickets go on sale about a week before each screening, through nuovoeden.it or at the arena box office from 30 minutes before the start of the show.
