National Museum of Fine Arts Features Aída Vaisman’s ‘Mujer de pie’

The painting is an oil on canvas made by Bonvin in 1869. In the 19th century, several artists reflected domestic work, which generally fell to women.

The Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes has mourned the death of Carlos Alonso, describing him as a great master and an unavoidable reference point in the contemporary visual history of the country.

In 2022, the museum paid tribute to Taquini with the exhibition ‘Una celebración a Graciela Taquini.’

The Museo Moderno and the Asociación Amigos del Moderno said they were bidding farewell to Alonso with enormous admiration and affection.
