Little is a contemporary British painter based in the Devon countryside who creates vibrant, expressive works with a distinctive sense of colour, texture and character. The gallery describes her painting approach as instinctive and playful, with bold compositions and richly worked surfaces giving each piece its own unique energy.
Before becoming a full-time painter, Little spent 17 years working internationally as a Design Director and Textile Designer for leading names including adidas, Quiksilver, the NBA, the Olympics, Team GB and Xcel Wetsuits. Her experience in those professional fields continues to influence her paintings, particularly through her bold use of colour, graphic compositions and love of texture.
Little’s passion for design and the ocean took her to Oregon, Biarritz and Byron Bay, experiences that broadened her creative perspective and continue to inform her work today. She has since returned to Devon, where she now paints full time.
