Pace Publishing’s booth, D7, at Printed Matter’s New York Art Book Fair will be at MoMA PS1 from September 24 to 26, 2026, presenting new, vintage and rare titles about Pace artists.
The publications will include titles highlighting the practices of Yto Barrada, Alexander Calder, Sam Gilliam, David Hockney, Agnes Martin, Maysha Mohamedi, Louise Nevelson, Lauren Quin, Adam Pendleton, Lucas Samaras, Arlene Shechet, Paul Thek and Richard Tuttle, among others.
Among the featured publications is ‘Paul Thek: Notebook #41, 1977 (2026),’ a facsimile edition of one of Thek’s composition notebooks containing drawings, diary entries, poetry, correspondences, ideas for artworks and transcriptions of texts by philosophers or theologians.
The presentation also includes ‘Adam Pendleton: An Abstraction,’ described as both a document and an evolution of Pendleton’s first solo show at Pace’s New York gallery in ten years. The publication comprises paintings and drawings from Pendleton’s ‘Black Dada’ and ‘Untitled (Days)’ bodies of work, shown within a monumental, site-specific architecture.
‘Agnes Martin: On Beauty’ collects writings by Martin centered on beauty and addressing nature, politics, solitude and silence.
Pace says it has published books in collaboration with and in support of its artists for more than six decades, with more than 500 titles created under Pace Publishing and an enduring focus on original scholarship and innovative design.
