‘Louise Nevelson: Dawn to Dusk’, a survey of more than 50 works by Louise Nevelson, is on view at the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum in Miami through January 17, 2027. The presentation began on August 20, 2026, and the museum describes it as one of the most comprehensive exhibitions of the artist’s work in the United States.
Originally organized by the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland, Maine, the exhibition follows Nevelson’s artistic evolution from early figurative paintings to abstract wood constructions. Collages and handcrafted jewelry are also part of the selection, which reflects the full arc of the pioneering sculptor’s career.
The Miami presentation incorporates several Nevelson works from the Frost Art Museum’s own collection.
