Choreographer Pam Tanowitz, composer Caroline Shaw and painter Sarah Crowner are joining forces to reimagine Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 in F Major.
The listed performers are Marc Crousillat, Christine Flores, Lindsey Jones, Maile Okamura, Caitlin Scranton, Stephanie Terasaki and Anson Zwingelberg, with Taylor LaBruzzo named as an understudy.
Tanowitz is a New York City-based choreographer, and her company, Pam Tanowitz Dance, has performed at Bard Summerscape festivals in 2016, 2018, 2021, 2022 and 2025, as well as La Biennale di Venezia, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, The Barbican Centre, Lincoln Center and New York City Center.
Crowner works across painting, sculpture, installation and set design; her art points to an expanded field of painting and investigates the relationship between the element and the whole, including how parts build an entirety.
