‘CoastLines: American Prints and Drawings’ is open through September 27, 2026, according to the Clark’s event listing.
The exhibition draws on the Clark’s own prints and drawings collection. It considers life along Atlantic shorelines in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Rather than treating the coast primarily as a summer resort, the exhibition presents coastlines as places of contact and exchange, as well as rich sources of American mythology.
Anne Leonard, Interim Chief Curator and Manton Curator of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs, is scheduled to lead a guided tour of ‘CoastLines: American Prints and Drawings’.
