'Caroline Ongpin: Passage' is on view from September 17 through November 21, 2026, in a special pop-up presentation in the East Gallery.
The fall opening presents 'Caroline Ongpin: Passage' alongside 'Mira Dayal: Nets', on view in the Leslie and Johanna Garfield Lobby, and 'Parasol Press: Breaking New Ground'.
The presentation features new works by Caroline Ongpin made during her 2025 Marabeth Cohen-Tyler Print/Paper Fellowship at Dieu Donné. Dieu Donné is described as a leading nonprofit cultural institution dedicated to the use of hand papermaking processes in contemporary art.
Ongpin uses watermark, blowout, and stencil techniques to explore translucency and color through specially developed fiber combinations.
