Jealous, the London gallery and print studio, has scheduled a first exhibition by Aldo C Gagliardi. Its own exhibitions listing gives the title as PLAY and the run as 7 to 10 October 2026; the entry was published on 14 September 2026 and still carries a "coming soon" marker.
Detail beyond that is minimal by the gallery's own choice. The listing includes no checklist, no press text and no named curator, and says only that further information will follow. A newsletter circulated in mid-September repeated the announcement in two sentences, sitting among unrelated gallery items, giving 7 October as the opening date and calling the project a debut solo exhibition. The web listing is less specific, describing it simply as a debut, so the solo format rests on the email wording alone for now.
The announcement graphic the gallery sent with that email adds one element its text does not: it bills the four days as an exhibition and book launch, with the artist's name and the October dates set over a grainy black-and-white photograph. No publisher, title, format or price for the book appears anywhere in the announcement, so the launch is at this stage only a billing line.
The listing also places the entry under a viewing-room heading beside the gallery's name. It does not explain what that means in practice, and the gallery has not said whether the presentation will be physical at its Shoreditch premises at 53 Curtain Road, EC2A 3PT, online, or both. No private view time, admission arrangement, price list or edition information has been posted either.
Gagliardi is not otherwise present on the gallery's site: a search of its pages returns no artist profile, no available works and no earlier projects there, which is consistent with a first outing. The announced window is short, four calendar days including the opening day, and the gallery has not said whether that period includes a preview or whether the dates may still move.
For now the dates are the only firm element, and the listing is worth checking again nearer the time: the gallery has promised more information without indicating when it will be published.
