Two works by Therapy Recycle and Exorcise, exhibited in ‘Vestir Mundos,’ have entered the collection of Buenos Aires’s Moderno museum. The additions are a ‘vestido armadura’ made from recovered and deconstructed sneakers, and the bridal look ‘La llorona,’ made from donated wedding dresses, shoe fragments and reused textiles.
Therapy Recycle and Exorcise is a collective formed by sisters Paula, Mariángeles and Andrea Aguirre, who live in Córdoba and Berlin.
The Malba and Moderno museums are presenting textile-focused proposals in Buenos Aires.
