Museu de Maricel to Display Restored Dolls from the Lola Anglada Collection

Museu de Maricel is presenting ‘Absències i presències. Els artistes de Charles Deering a la Col·lecció d’Art Banc Sabadell’ from 2 May to 25 October 2026.

A commemorative post notes that artist Suzanne Valadon was born on this day. Valadon was born in Bessines-sur-Gartempe, France, in 1865, and died in Paris in 1938.

The exhibition is scheduled to close on 25 October, with a programme designed to broaden its narrative and deepen understanding of Charles Deering, his Maricel project and the cultural and artistic context of the first decades of the 20th century.

A commemorative post marks the birth anniversary of Emilia Pardo Bazán, born in La Coruña in 1851 and deceased in Madrid in 1921, recalling that she was at Cau Ferrat as a guest of Santiago Rusiñol.
