Christina Kubisch. The Emergence of Sound, a solo exhibition by the sound artist and composer, is on view at the Ludwig Forum only through Sunday, 20 September 2026.
One of them is 'Verbindungsstücke,' a workshop for children and young people aged six and above, based on the exhibition’s 'Kupfergarten.'
'Kakophonie' is a family sound workshop featuring a sound walk with Wellington Barros on Sunday, 20 September 2026, from noon to 3 p.m.
The exhibition brings together selected works made between 1975 and 2026, including the site-specific, interactive installation 'Kupfergarten' and the 98th 'Electrical Walk.'
Kubisch has worked for more than five decades at the intersection of visual art and music, combining composition, installation, performance, drawing, video and electronic music. The exhibition presents sound as a phenomenon that continually forms through the arrangement and interaction of bodies, materials, signals and movement.
