Can Framis Museum Highlights Joan Miró’s ‘La Falç’ for Diada

The Museo Reina Sofía is recalling the republican origin of a pochoir by Joan Miró. The image depicts a Catalan peasant wearing a barretina and raising a fist.

At the Reina Sofía, the 1937 work ‘Aidez l'Espagne’ changes location. The process of moving and installing the piece in its new location is being shown in the #AhoraenSala section.

Two exhibitions revisit the careers of two artists. The artists were linked by a close friendship and by their involvement in recovering Catalan artistic modernity of the postwar period.
