The panels are being exhibited for the first time since the book’s launch, offering an opportunity to experience ‘Wild Folk’ as a collection of glass artworks in their own right.
The book brings together Jackie Morris’s words and Abbott’s stained-glass paintings in a true collaboration. Its stories feature selkies, silver trout, a black fox, a woman who is happier living as an owl, and a boy who learns to feel the songs and stories of trees through his skin.
An online talk about the series, ‘Wild Folk and The Illuminating Alchemy of Glass with Tamsin Abbott’, is scheduled for Wednesday 30 September at 7pm.
