Katherine Flynn’s ‘The Shape of What Remains’ is scheduled at bG Gallery in Santa Monica from September 16 to October 10, 2026. A reception will take place on Saturday, September 26, from 5 to 8 pm.
Flynn transforms the emotional histories of abandoned vehicles into artworks. The presentation includes a life-size automobile sculpture that visitors may enter.
The gallery’s September schedule also includes ‘Intentional Tranquility’, on view from September 9 to 14, 2026. A selection of bG Gallery artists considers the deliberate pursuit of calm, reflection and balance amid tumultuous times. The Bergamot Station Fall Open is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, from noon to 10 pm, with a bG Gallery special event from 4 to 7 pm.
Lara Kempke’s ‘Spiritus Animales’ is scheduled from October 14 to November 2, 2026, with an opening reception on Saturday, October 17, from 4 to 7 pm. Painting, sculpture, resin, assemblage and transformed musical instruments explore the relationship between humans, animals, sound and imagination.
