CARVALHO is returning to ‘The Armory Show’ with a suite of new works by Élise Peroi, Rosalind Tallmadge and Anoushka Mirchandani, who makes her debut with the gallery. The presentation is on view at Booth 133 from September 24–27, 2026.
This year’s presentation foregrounds practices operating within the expanded field of painting, privileging material sensitivity and bodily perception over image-based representation. Working at the intersection of architecture and tactility, the three artists engage opacity, permeability and scale as conceptual tools.
Élise Peroi’s ‘Là où transperce la lumière des jardins’ is a 2025 work made from silk, gouache, linen and maple. The work measures 67 x 110 ¼ x 11 ¾ inches, or 170 x 280 x 30 centimeters.
Rosalind Tallmadge’s ‘Valley’ is a 2026 work made from mica, selenite and lepidolite on Japanese silk organza, comprising sixteen elements. Its dimensions are 92 x 92 inches, or 233.5 x 233.5 centimeters. Anoushka Mirchandani’s ‘After great patience, a small bird comes’ is a 2026 work made with oil, oil stick and oil pastel on canvas, and is framed. The work measures 66 x 72 inches, or 167.5 x 183 centimeters.
