‘Porta'm a la terra en un dibuix’, an exhibition dedicated to the illustrator Ignasi Blanch, is on view at Museu de Montserrat in Montserrat, Spain, until 22 November 2026.
The exhibition considers Blanch’s drawing practice, including recurring themes of memory and the relationship between reality and imagination. It presents drawings through which the artist transforms experiences, memories and impressions into a visual language.
A virtual-reality experience forms part of the exhibition route. Using headsets available in the galleries, visitors can accompany Blanch during his working process in Roquetes and explore the landscape of his origins.
The exhibition opened on 22 May 2026 with a discussion involving museum director G. Xavier Caballé, curator Àngel Burgas and Blanch, moderated by journalist Rita Roig. Singer Lia Sampai participated, with collaboration from singer Arturo Gaya. P. Manel Gasch, abbot of Montserrat, closed the opening event.
