Michael Lisi Contemporary Art has listed five works in its September 2026 acquisitions: Alex Katz’s ‘Ada 8’ (2022), Robert Indiana’s ‘Love’ (1996), Robert Motherwell’s ‘Nocturne I’ (1987/88), Jim Dine’s ‘Carnegie Hall Heart’ (1986), and Jeff Koons’s ‘Balloon Dog (Blue)’ (2002).
Katz’s ‘Ada 8’, from ‘Ada Portfolio 2’, is an original 13-colour screenprint on Saunders paper, measuring 40 1/2 by 54 inches and issued in an edition of 100. Indiana’s ‘Love’, from the ‘Book of Love’ portfolio, is a screenprint in colours on Creswood Museum Edition paper, measuring 24 by 20 inches; it was published and printed by American Image Edition, New York, in an edition of 200 plus 10 TP.
Motherwell’s ‘Nocturne I’, from the ‘Octavio Paz’ suite, combines lithograph and chine appliqué on Japanese Gampi handmade paper laid on Arches paper. Dine’s ‘Carnegie Hall Heart’ is an original colour lithograph on Arches Cover Buff paper, published by the artist and Pace Editions, New York. Koons’s ‘Balloon Dog (Blue)’ is a metallic-coated cast porcelain sculpture issued by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles, in an edition of 2,300.
