Museum Cobra in Amstelveen will present ‘Pat Oleszko: Fool Disclosure’ from 21 November 2026 to 4 April 2027, marking the first European solo exhibition by the American artist and performer Pat Oleszko.
The exhibition brings together sculpture, performance, costume, film and political commentary. Its focus includes Oleszko’s inflatable works, which became an important part of her practice from the 1980s. The presentation also includes costumes, films, photographs and archival material.
For more than 50 years, Oleszko has used her body and public space as artistic material. Her practice developed from early performances to elaborate costumes and monumental inflatable sculptures.
‘Pat Oleszko: Fool Disclosure’ was developed by SculptureCenter in New York. Following its presentation in Amstelveen, the exhibition will travel to Centro Pecci in Prato, Italy.
