Sophie Dupont’s sensory exhibition ‘BREATHE’ remains on view at Sorø Art Museum until 18 October 2026, the final day of the autumn school holiday.
The exhibition considers how breathing connects people to their own bodies, to one another and to the world around them. Through installations, video and sound works, ‘BREATHE’ focuses on air as something shared, while addressing how it is affected by pollution, illness and living conditions.
Visitors are invited to take an active part in the works through sensory experience, movement and presence. Works in the exhibition include opportunities to listen through conch shells, share breath with others, make imprints using soap bubbles and experience how the body affects art.
Educational programmes connected with ‘BREATHE’ are available for daycare groups, schools and upper-secondary education through 18 October. Activities include movement exercises, collective sensory experiences and workshop projects using breath, colour and sensory experience as points of departure.
