Petra Scheibe Teplitz’s exhibition ‘day in day out’ will close at DavisKlemmGallery in Wiesbaden on Sunday, 30 August, with a moderated conversation featuring the artist and Mainz collector Prof. Gerhard Meerwein. The gallery will be open from 2pm to 6pm, and the discussion is scheduled to begin at 5pm.

The exhibition presents a selection of works by Scheibe Teplitz spanning five decades. According to the gallery’s announcement, the Frankfurt-based artist’s practice is shaped by structure and repetition—two elements associated with the routines and rhythms of everyday life. The presentation brings together works from across that extended period rather than focusing on a single phase of her career.

The closing conversation will place Scheibe Teplitz’s work in dialogue with Meerwein, who is identified by the gallery as a collector based in Mainz. It will be moderated, although the announcement does not name the moderator or provide further details about the format of the discussion.

The event will take place at DavisKlemmGallery’s premises at Steinern-Kreuz-Weg 22 in Mainz-Kostheim, an area within Wiesbaden. The gallery’s published information lists regular opening hours during exhibitions as Fridays and Saturdays from noon to 5pm, with visits on other days available by appointment. Its website identifies the organization as DavisKlemmGallery GmbH & Co. KG and lists membership in the Bundesverband Deutscher Galerien und Kunsthändler, or BVDG.

The 30 August closing is also scheduled alongside ‘AUSFLUG 04’, a separate afternoon programme involving DavisKlemmGallery, the Zündholz.Werkstätten and Weingut Bacchus Speicher. The gallery’s part of that programme corresponds to Scheibe Teplitz’s exhibition and includes the 5pm conversation; the other participating locations present separate activities and artists. DavisKlemmGallery’s announcement gives the joint afternoon schedule as 2pm to 6pm.
