Galerie 35M2 in Prague’s Žižkov district will open ‘Infrastructures of Imagination’, a group exhibition bringing together works by anto_nie, Ginevra Petrozzi, Michaela Kozáková and Veronika Poslední. The opening is scheduled for 2 September 2026 at 7pm at the gallery, located at Víta Nejedlého 23. Café Pavlač is also listed as an inviting partner, while the exhibition venue is Galerie 35M2.
Curated by Anežka Januschka Kořínková, the exhibition examines how contemporary technologies, media and algorithms intersect with older ways of seeking orientation in the world. Its stated points of reference include ritual, divination, plant knowledge, manifestation and spiritual practice. The curatorial concept considers how these forms of knowledge and ways of imagining the future are reshaped by social media, digital platforms and technological infrastructures.
The participating artists approach those questions through different combinations of digital, moving-image, environmental and participatory practice. Their work raises questions about trust, the ways futures are imagined and the places people turn to when attempting to navigate the present, according to the exhibition description.
anto_nie is identified as an artist, game designer, educator and facilitator working between Prague and Vienna. After studying Experimental Game Cultures at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, die Angewandte, anto_nie developed a practice concerned with folklore, monstrosity, queer ecology and herbalism. Role-playing game narrative mechanics, 3D and game engines form part of an approach to creating communal physical and non-physical spaces.
Ginevra Petrozzi, an artist and interdisciplinary designer based in the Netherlands, focuses on magical thinking in relation to predictive systems including artificial intelligence, machine learning and algorithmic processes. Her research, writing and creative work seek to make space for human and non-human forms of intelligence, knowledge and wisdom. The exhibition materials describe her current interests as including mysticism and occultism within contemporary techno-politics, framed through the figure of the ‘digital witch’.
The exhibition also brings together the practices of Veronika Poslední and Michaela Kozáková, both connected to the Center for Audiovisual Studies at FAMU. Poslední, an artist and filmmaker currently studying at the centre, works between cinema and the gallery and also makes photographic installations. Her work draws on digital space, non-human perspectives, images and contemporary mythologies, while addressing states of limbo, escapism and repetition. Kozáková’s practice centres on environmental questions, movement and relationships to cultural landscapes. Storytelling linked to walking and human impact during the climate crisis is central to her work, which she is extending through landscape management, conservation and collective horticultural practice.
The opening takes place on Wednesday 2 September 2026 at 7pm, the time given in the gallery’s own invitation; ArtMap’s institution listing states 6pm and also gives the run as 2 September to 31 October 2026, an end date not yet published on 35m2.cz. Because the gallery opens Thursday to Saturday, 11am to 7pm, the first regular viewing day is Thursday 3 September. Admission is free.
Galerie 35M2, at Víta Nejedlého 23 in Prague 3 – Žižkov, was founded in 2006 by Michal Pěchouček and Petra Steinerová to show work by recent art-school graduates and students, and its curatorial team is Anežka Januschka Kořínková and Pamela, so this exhibition is curated in-house. Production, management and PR are credited to Stanislav Kubáň, graphic design to Bohumil Vašák and the illustration to anto_nie. The gallery’s programme is supported by the Czech Ministry of Culture, the City of Prague, the State Culture Fund and the GESTOR foundation.
