The exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of Zhao Hai Tien’s artistic journey as a painter and her explorations as a Hong Kong artist, both locally and internationally.

The exhibition presents Wang’s paintings as large-scale ink works, combining depictions of mountains and trees with passages from the Diamond Sutra.

It will examine why the paintings are exceptional and argue that, far from being aberrations, they fit coherently within Velázquez’s oeuvre.
